Health & Safety Policy
Rope Access Construction Surveyors Ltd (RACS), make Health & Safety our top priority. It is RACS company policy to ensure all possible steps are taken to safe guard all persons effected by our activities. Health & Safety is at the forefront of our everyday work.
To achieve this the company will:
- Ensure all staff are qualified, trained and experienced in their field.
- Provide a safe working environment for their employees
- Prove equipment that is suitable and correctly maintained for use at work.
- Provide a safe system of work for our employees, including provision of Personal Protective Equipment where required.
- Communicate effectively with employees on all issues concerning health & safety.
- Monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of the policy seeking to improvement at all times to maintain high standards of health & safety.
- To review the policy as necessary or at least annually.
- Liaise with outside sources where appropriate on health & safety issues when necessary, taking into account the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- PPE is inspected prior to use and independently by an external body on an 6 monthly basis.
- Appropriate CE marked equipment.
- A minimum of two site technicians working together during working at height activities.
- Work to comply with the following standards where appropriate
